JOYoga: photo
This is a blend of Hatha, Iyengar and Vinyasa yoga. It is my own unique style to enhance your quality and enjoyment of life. Attention is given to breathing techniques as well. Beginners and more advanced students are catered for i.e. beginner’s classes for those with zero, to one year’s experience, and general classes for those with one or more year’s experience.

Pranayama: photo
Simply put, different breathing exercises used to balance the energies in the body, to teach better breath control, to increase lung capacity and also calm and centre the mind, preparing it for meditation.

Meditation: photo
This is a method of calming the mind and finding peace within ourselves. It can be used to release stress, reduce blood pressure, and long-term, helps one deal with stressful situations better.

Stress release / Restorative yoga: photo
A blend of all the above in a gentle format, highly recommended for those with heavy workloads (high stress), those with high blood pressure, headaches as well as diabetes, can benefit greatly.

Pre-natal:
Asanas specifically designed to help with opening, getting the woman ready for birth, breathing techniques to help give strength and relaxation to help deal with the pain of birth. Each trimester having different needs. Beginners classes suitable, otherwise private classes offered.

Posture: photo
Back therapy private classes offered, as well as workshops presented at the Bodhi Yoga Studio. All classes stress correct posture. We focus on alignment and correct posture in all asanas.

Partner Yoga: photo
Do your class with a partner; a husband / wife / girlfriend / boyfriend or best friend. All postures are done together in an atmosphere of helping each other and learning from each other. Building trust and intimacy between partners; increasing the caring between partners, helping each to understand the other’s limitations, and rejoicing in each other’s success and advancement in Yoga.
